His and Hers

Yesterday was Brooke and Chase's 18 month and 4 month check-ups, respectively. Steven met me at the pediatrician's office and took Anna away with him for his lunch break, so it wasn't quite as hectic as the last 3-fer visit, thank goodness. It was still a bit of a handful, however, thanks to somebody's *cough* Brooke *cough* total freak-out when being examined.

So here's her stats, which by the way, surprised the heck outta me:
Height: 34 inches (95%)
Weight: 24 lbs. 14 oz. (50%)
Head: big---just kidding---49 cm (95%)
I was shocked by the fact that she is so tall statistically. Next to Anna: Amazon Woman, she seems so petite. And Brooke is a bit on the skinny side (despite the fact that she eats constantly), but I guess now that I think about it, she is in a 2T.
No vaccines for Miss Thing, but she did get Fluoride put on her teeth, and you would have thought she was being disemboweled, by the way she screamed. But anyway, she right on point developmentally. Doing great!

Buddy boy is doing great as well. His stats I was not at all surprised by:

Height: 25 1/2 inches (75%)
Weight: 15 lbs. 6 oz. (75%)
Head: 42 cm (50%)
He got a few vaccines, cried for like 5 seconds, then was all smiles again. Even the doctor commented on how laid back and happy he is. He, too, is right on target developmentally. He has started cooing and laughing, he has started the whole teething process, he grabs and holds his baby toys, he's still rolling around a bit, but his new favorite thing to do is play with his feet. All is well in his little world.

And this has nothing to do with this post in any way, but below for your consideration is a picture of what Anna would look like if she were British.
